Sunset Concert Series presented by Moat Mountain Brewing Company
A Tribute to Bob Marley
The Duppy Conquerors are dedicated to the spirit of Bob Marley’s Music.
They have been making a name as the premier tribute to Bob Marley in New England. They aren’t a “tribute band” trying to look and dress like Bob Marley and The Wailers; they are musicians who respect their sound and spirit. With nearly 3/4 of their repertoire under their belts, The Duppy Conquerors are the quintessential testimonial to Bob Marley.
Celebrating Jerry Garcia
August First is a MA based project that celebrates the many musical incarnations of Jerry Garcia and more. These musicians found themselves particularly drawn to the stylings of Jerry and David Grisman. August First is an acoustic arrangement, full in sound, and layered with sweet harmonies. They are not your typical tribute band; playing traditionals, originals, bluegrass, classic rock, and blues defining their style as Blues-Grassicana. Come celebrate the many musical lives of Jerry Garcia and more with August First.
From the front-lines at Standing Rock to the archaic streets of Jerusalem, the Sahel Desert to Carnegie Hall, music has been the source of strength for Billy Wylder. The band features Avi Salloway (Bombino/Hey Mama/Avi & Celia) joined by an inspired cast of singular artists who have performed across five continents including concerts at the Coachella Music & Arts Festival, Newport Folk Festival, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Montreal Jazz Fest, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center.
Indie Punk Rock
Muddy Ruckus is a rock duo of “darkly inventive americana” according to the New York Music Daily. Guitarist Ryan Flaherty and drummer Erika Stahl of Portland, Maine play a grungy style of railroad indie punk blues. This stripped-down power-duo blends rootsy guitar and edgy percussion on a suitcase drum kit, and is known for a full rock band sound.
The American Rogues
Drawing favourable comparisons to Wolfstone, Afro Celt Sound System, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra and consistently providing performances from Grade 1 bagpipers and other world class musicians this high-energy Canadian/American group has electrified audiences on three continents for years.
No Shoes Nation Band
Kenny Chesney Tribute Band
The five accomplished musicians of the No Shoes Nation Band pay tribute to Kenny Chesney’s incredible catalog of Billboard Charting hit songs from his top selling albums. The No Shoes Nation Band recreates a Kenny Chesney show, playing the music you know and love. The No Shoes Nation Band brings the thrill and excitement of a Kenny Chesney concert with the same outstanding musicianship that has driven Kenny to sell out stadiums all over the country.
